This is worth a try!!!
Open the brf in DBT.
BEFORE you translate back to print, double check what translation table DBT has
applied to the file. This can be found under Document, Translation Tables.
Apply the appropriate translation table to whatever the file is, you can press
E to get the start of the list for all the English versions. There is also a
translation table for Math Code/Nemeth if that is what is used.
Then translate back to print and see what you get.

I have an assistant who does not know braille( I know, I know)
I also have a brf of a math book of which I need only certain pages, and
sections. Is there a way to back translate the brf to print, and then convert
to braille again without losing the integrity fit he translation?? I have tried
a page or two to experiment and the math is almost ruined. Just hoping I can
pass this labor intensive task to someone else, but I don't think I have that
option. Ideas?

Thank you for the below information. However, my embosser is interpoint. I had
to illuminate the binding offset because that created three unused spaces on
the left. I solved the space at the top of the page though. Now for some reason
I am not receiving Braille on both sides of the page even that interpoint is
checked in all places.

I want to emboss on 8.5-inch by 11-inch paper. I am using an Index
embosser. For some reason when I change my paper to letter size in DBT
11.3 it starts the embossing about 5 lines down from the top of the
page. It does not do this if I change the paper to 11 by 11.5 inch.
All the rest of my settings appear to be the same.
Any help would be appreciated.
I want to be able to fit what I need on 8.5 inch wide paper, and it
certainly can be done. But, I can't get it to emboss correctly since
once it starts embossing 5 lines from the top of the first page than
everything else is off!
