Ottawa Canada Dear George and list: I followed your tiny url for the 27 MB download to let Word, Powerpoint and Excel 2000, 2003 etc deal with Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2007 format files and found myself on the Office 2007 service pack 1 tab. Seems it is over 218 MB in size and the system requirements indicate it is for Office 2007. Is this the same download you are thinking of? It seems to be for Office 2007, not XP, 2000 and 2003. Thanks. Brian Brian K. Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Importance: High I've been getting quite a few panic calls lately from users of Word 2003 or earlier, who have been sent Word 2007 files, and of course are unable to read them. Please be aware that Microsoft have released the "Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats". This allows you to open, edit and save Office 2007 files using Office 2000, Office XP and Office 2003. It is a 27 megabyte download, but works extremely well.
