George: It very well could be. It is a menu, and it is in protected view; and
it cannot be “unprotected” unless you have a password to do so. So, my original
question stands. Will tables be translated in DBT, and if so, how do I correct
it? Thanks for the reply.

Hi Jerry,
It almost sounds like the Paste from Excel into Word has been linked.
That is to say any changes made in the Excel file will automatically reflect in
the Word file when it is opened next.
Could this be the root of your problem?
George

Subject: [duxuser] Tables in DBT
Afternoon all.
I am translating some text from an Excel spreadsheet into a Word Document via
the copy and paste method. In one aspect of the print document, there is a
table that I just cannot seem to get rid of, without getting rid of the text as
well. My question is this: Using DBT 12.2, after I copy and paste the text into
the print format of DBT and translate it into braille, will the table still
appear; and if so, what would I need to remove it? Thanks in advance.
Jerry
