Hi Nadine, I'm assuming you are importing a Word file. From the Global menu, select the Word Importer. In the resultant dialog, go to the "Unknown Character" list box and select "Ignore". Re-import your document and the "d+0010" should disappear. Basically it appears that there is a character, hidden or otherwise, which DBT does not recognise as a valid character, and so is displaying a special value called "duscii" (similar to ascii).
