I know that Word Art is a graphic and therefore ignored by DBT and JAWS. I suppose I should have said that a special symbols page would probably be required. In the arrows, you could try a colon instead of a hyphen. The checkbox is particularly useful because of its exact similarity to the print checkmark. All of the symbols I chose are useful because they can be integrated into documents without comprimsing the interpoint. If anyone else has discovered Braille symbol combos that replicate print images I'd like to hear about them. in the sighted world, there is something called ASCIIART. The sighted can type various combinations of print letters on a page in particular positions and draw pictures. I imagine they alter the spacing in thwir word processors so that the letters are closer together then normal and they probably include those macrons and Greek letter shapes to add spice. Using letters, numbers and symbols to create other shapes gives new meaning to the phrase "thinking out of the box".
