Can you tell us what template/style you are using?
There are still many questions to your problem. If you would like, please
indicate if someone can remote into your computer using either JAWS or Team
Viewto see what is going on.
If that doesn't solve the problem you might want to send the Word file to
someone who is running the same version of Duxbury as yours to see if they
have the same problem.

I am running Word for MS Office 365 version 2210, JAWS home edition version
2022.2110.60, the latest update for Windows 10 and DBT 12.2 When I tidied
up the original document I initially took out what formatting there was and
edited it using all the Word styles I needed.

Tell us what version of MSW or Word you are using?
Did you tidy up the file by stripping things like tabs and using heading
with "control+Alt+1, 2, etc for headings in the Word file?
Are you using a screen reader and what version?
Are you running Windows 7, 10 or 11?
Answer these questions and you may get answers more quickly.

Hi folks:
Really hope somebody can help me with my continuing struggles with DBT/MSW.
Somebody has sent me a file in an older version of MS Word which they want
me to translate into a DBT document.
I have tidied up the original Word document, imported it into DBT and saved
it as a .dxp file.
This is where the trouble starts. I am unable to edit the .dxp file and
when I arrow around JAWS reports "same spot" or something similar.
Additionally, when I translate the document JAWS is reading it normally but
when I arrow around I hear all sorts of strange things but no words.
I am running DBT 12.2, the latest versions of MS Word and JAWS.
I think I must have changed a setting somewhere but cannot find anything in
the Help menu regarding preferred settings Really hoping someone can help.
