Hello everybody. How much do the courses cost?
Thanks so much.

Hello all,
The NFB course has two eligibility requirements – US citizenship and a high
school or equivalent diploma.

Jerry and all,
I have recently accomplished certification in UEB literary braille
transcription through the NFB training by correspondence. While I used the
print materials, BRF versions of the same content are available on the NFB
website for the training. You will find them at the URL immediately below.
Note that you will have to scroll down past the list of print versions (PDF) of
the training materials to get to the BRF versions:
https://nfb.org/braille-transcribing#7
If you require embossed (or printed) materials, you can request them from
Jennifer Dunnam, Manager of Braille Programs. You can reach her at the
following contact points.

I hope this helps,

I am curious about the UEB study materials found in the NFB site. I attempted
to peruse the materials before signing up for the course, and the text, on the
computer, was not very helpful, regarding the examples. I tried to find out how
to get the physical text in braille book format, with no success. Are the
Hadley course materials comperable with the NFB materials? Jerry
