Notes do not require blank lines except as required by other formats such as
headings, lists...

Leave a blank line above and below the note.

Your begin note code is <note.>
Then, if you are in the print document you need to enter &@
This will make those dot 6 and 3
Type Transcriber's Note all in caps and then a colon.

After typing your text enter &@</note.>
I'm sure this note code is in the list, but I find it faster to just enter
it from the keyboard.
