Fina Seems like I've heard someone on this list had the same trouble before. Was it created in MS-Word. If so, it might be that the special symbols option is turned on. Just an idea. I brailled several copies of a cookbook and on one of the copies, it ran things together and not on the others. For example, in the list of ingredients there are several that are listed as: 1-1/2 2 pkgs. 4-1/2 oz.... Well, what the embosser did, was to run the first two numbers toger making them look like this: 11/2 or 41/2 instead of putting dashes in to separate things. The braille display shows that the dashes are there but the embosser didn't put them in. If anybody can tell me why this happened, i sure would appreciate it!! Thanks for reading.
