Subject: [duxuser] Re: Problem Working with T, and P Pages and switching back
to Arabic Page Numbering
Hi Diana,
I use styles to do this. I make sure there is a blank line on which to apply
the style. For T pages, the style should be “transcriber generated page
number.” For P pages, it should be “prelimpagenumber.” You the main body with
Arabic numbers, the style to use is “mainbody.” Once you apply the style, the
blank line will go away. You only need the blank line to avoid getting text
stuck in between the begin style code and the end style code. I hope this helps.

Subject: [duxuser] Problem Working with T, and P Pages and switching back to
ArabicPage Numbering
Hello all:
I am working on a book that only has T, P and Arabic page Numbers. The codes I
am using at the tops of pages when I want the switch to happen are [pg~t] and
[pg~p]. I want my very first title page to be t1, which I can force by putting
a number before the ~.
1. My first problem is that, not surprisingly, the pg at the beginning of the
code forces a new page before my t1 title page but I don’t know how to get the
t1 there without the pg before it.
2. My second problem is that once I’ve finished with the p pages, I can use a
[pv1] and [pnta] to go to a new page 1 to begin the book, but I haven’t figured
out how to end the p pages and get straight numbering.
Any suggestions are gratefully appreciated. Thank you in advance.
