I would like to congratulate all who collaborated on the Microsoft Word Template for BANA formatting and the Duxbury BANA template. It is really super! My comments which follow are certainly not intended as criticism. 1. I have been working a bit with Computer Braille Code and have found that in the Word Template there are two styles: CBC Display and CBC Inline (compinline). When sent via SWIFT to the BANA template, the "compinline" style is missing from the DBT BANA template. It is easy enough to add (permanently, if necessary) for those who are familiar with creating or modifying templates. 2. I input a small computer program with numbered lines, in the Word Template. The CBC-Display style seems to get attached to each line of the computer program, and as a result, when imported into Duxbury has CBC-Display style open and close at the beginning and end of each line, resulting in a blank line between each line of program code. My question is: is there any way within the Word BANA template to enclose all the lines of display within one set of opening and closing styles? My workaround so far has been to copy and paste the lines into DBT and open and close the style around them all. Alternatively I can remove the skip line codes from the CBC-Display style temporarily in DBT. Thanks for any anticipated suggestions.
