Hi, Hope someone can help. I requested some files recently from a north American organisation. I wanted to be sent the files in a .dxp format so that I could load them into my DBT 10.4 and format them for my settings. However, I have learnt that the organisation uses MegaDots. I do not have that program and don't know anything about it. And it seems I have only been sent the braille files. I was sent the files with this explanation: I saved the files out of MegaDots in two ways: Braille formatted files with a .brf extension and an ASCII line with a .txt extension. My question is: is there a way I can emboss these files according to my own page set ups which are different to what these files have been formatted to? I.e., I use 11 by 11.5 inch where as they have been formatted for 11 by 8.5 inch. Secondly, it would be nice if I could somehow change them to print so that I can then apply the English Australian translation tables so I get things like the point being dot 2 rather than dots 4,6. I tried opening one of the .brf files in DBT and I chose the importer of formatted braille. Duxbury told me that the page depth had been exceeded or something like that. Any help would be much appreciated.
