Okay. That makes sense. I have another question. If when you are processing
a doc in braille, just like in print in Duxbury, the text will wrap. What is
the advantage of using the bell unless you are wanting to translate a doc
exactly as written? This is just for my own knowledge, as I have had to do a
tremendous amount of translating for one of my client's in the past. Thanks
for your input.

You are setting it to the number of cells from the right margin. So if you
set it for 4 it will sound 4 cells before you reach your right margin.
That's why 0 doesn't sound at all.

All the best,

Hi Ann,

I forgot to ask. When changing the setting for the bell to ring, are you
setting it to the cell position? This is what makes logical sense to me.
Please indicate how to set the bell position.

Thanks.

If you go into Global: View Preferences (Alt-G-V) you can change the margin
bell position to whatever you would like. It does not sound when the
position is set to 0.

Subject: [duxuser] Margin Bell Sound Using Duxbury 11.1

Hello,

I am running Duxbury 11.1 and would like to have the bell sound when typing
a braille file. I have set my margin to 40, but the sound does not play. I
found the margin.wav file and was able to play it, but it will not play
while in Duxbury 11.1. Could someone assist me in figuring out this issue?

Thank You,

Sharon
