Yup! F3 is my friend. Anytime DBT is not cooperating, I hit F3 and strip out
the offending codes. Want to take out a table, F3; want to end the annoying
backspace blocks, F3; etc. I don't have time to look up codes or styles. F3
takes care of most problems and lets me move on.

alt-F3 is the keyboard shortcut toggle to switch between coded and formatted
view in DBT. To be on the safe side, I tend to go into coded view and strip
out duplicate or codes I don't want; but that's just me avoiding issues with
"suspenders and belt."
