Hi Betsy,
Unless someone has definitive advice from BANA rules, I'd
suggest one of two things.
1) A Transcriber's note to explaining how Snap!VRS appears
in print and therefore braille
2) Would the following BAN rule perhaps be appropriate?
APPENDIX A. 9.
9. Special Symbols Page: Include a special symbols page
following the title page in each braille volume listing
special symbols which are encountered in that volume. These
should include:
symbols which have been devised or assigned special usage;

I have a word Snap!VRS which is the name of a company. It
has an exclamation point immediately followed by VRS. When I
translated the file, the braille actually says SnapffVRS.
How on earth do I transcribe that? Yikes, Betsy
