Hi Margaret,
Sorry, I misunderstood!
You could go into your f8 menu again and select brl. You can then type ASCII
code between the style markers. For example: <brl>;;;</brl> would give you the
grade 1 passage indicator. If you don't have the brl style you could try
entering the semi-colons between Alt0 Alt2. (Alt 0 puts you into ASCII, Alt2
back into grade 2.) For example: [cz];;;[tx][g2] would also give you the grade
1 passage indicator. You would also need to insert the passage terminator in
the same way.
I hope that makes some sense!

Hi Cheryl
Thanks for the tips.
It's not actually putting things into grade 1 or grade 2 that I need, but how
to generate the indicator.
I'm getting there with the ui and ii codes (to make single and double grade 1
indicators), but wonder about creating a passage indicator.
Thanks again for your input - food for thought!
Margaret

Hi Margaret,
The template I am using in Duxbury 12.2 SR1 has a grade 1 style that can be
applied. I highlight the passage and press f8 which show you the "Apply Style"
window. You can scroll or type "g" to find "grade1". If you don't have that
in your template you could use "Alt1" at the start of the passage. "Alt2" at
the end of the passage would put you back into grade 2.
I hope that helps.

Greetings
I am wondering how to generate a Grade 1 passage indicator in Duxbury.
Am sure I've come across this before, but have lost track of it.
Enlightenment most appreciated!
All the best
