I am using DBT 12.1 I do all my coding through DBT. I am a sighted
transcriber. I was hoping someone could help figure out why the Glossary/GW
command isn't giving me the correct dash for the Braille guide words.
I have a small glossary in a literary book that the company I am transcribing
for they want Braille page guide words. I found the Glossary command in styles
and the GW command. My problem is I am getting 2 hyphens (pre UEB dash) for the
Guide Words what I need is the UEB dash (,-). I get the UEB dash everywhere
else in the file but not in the Guide Words. When I cut the glossary out and
put it into DBT 12.2 it works, but I can not use the 12.2 version as it causes
some conflict with the version of DBT that they use. So I tried pasting the
12.2 version into my coded 12.1 file needless to say it didn't work. When I
translated in 12.1 I got the pre-UEB dash. Would anybody happen to know what I
need to do for a correct translation? If necessary please contact me off list.
Thank you,
Jana
