Hi Kuenga,
To be quite clear, UEB Math Braille does use a little more space than Nemeth,
but simply because there is less ambiguity.
On the other hand UEB literary braille's increase is almost negligible.
A major consideration longer term is computer based back-translation from math
braille to print.
Literary UEB is far more easily converted back to printed text, and we expect
to see inroads with math also.
In education, this is quite important unless almost every member of staff knows
braille.

Hi guys,
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback..
With UEB Braille occupies more space than the Nemeth, am I right? Am I right
to understand that for Nemeth mathtype is required to translate mathematics to
Braille while for UEB with Nemeth, mathtype is not required for transcribing
into Braille.
Thanking in advance for your clarification.
Kuenga Chhoegyel.
