Hi David,
Have you used the BANA Word Template which has been specifically created for
transcribers?

And that's my big problem with ?Duxbury. It requires users to be familiar with
codes. It needs to be more user friendly - you need to change the reference
page number, you should be able to highlight it, change it, and move on.
Having to insert a code to make a correction takes too much time and thought,
and knowledge of code. We transcribers have enough to deal with in transcribing
braille to have to also learn codes for the software we use. Braille 2000 is
user friendly and lets you highlight page numbers, change them, and move on. it
lets you make changes, more like a word processor. Duxbury needs to learn from
Braille 2000 and make their program more of a word processor so we can worry
about translation and not processing.

Hi Sarah,
I've figured out how to do this. If you are working directly in DBT, here are
the codes you need.
[lea][i]v
The [lea] code says it is a print page number. The [i] suppresses the letter
sign.
You can also apply the reference page number by using the keystroke of
Alt-Enter.
So, the easiest way to insert these codes is to:
1. Type your page number, for example, v
2. Position the cursor in front of the page number, and press Control-Left
Bracket to insert a code.
3. Enter i and tab to okay.
4. Press Alt-Enter to make it a print reference page number.
Hope this works for you. Shout out if you have problems.

Subject: [duxuser] Continuation preliminary pages in UEB
Please forgive me if this is a basic question, but I'm having some trouble with
continuation page numbers using the UEB template (DBT 12.1 SR1). According to
my transcribing instructor, the continuation pages for print page v should be
"av" and "bv" without a grade 1 indicator before the v, but Duxbury inserts a
Grade 1 indicator anyway. Is there a way I can manually change this so I can
pass my class?
Thanks! :)
