I didn't realize one could use Perky Duck to do the certification. If this
is true, it changes everything for me. My perkins isn't working very well
at all, along with several other reasons why it would be cumbersome to use
in my situation.

I understand that to submit the manuscript for certification through the
Library of Congress, you cannot use translation software. What would be a
direct input software that could be used? Is Perky Duck allowed? If not,
is there a free version available?
I would prefer to use my laptop rather than my Perkins Brailler and then
run it through the embosser. Is this allowed?
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
