Subject: [duxuser] Auto Page Breaking
Hi All,
I am having trouble working out how to know when a page changes in my Duxbury
files. I thought it should automatically add a running header or page number
so I know it has rolled on to the next page.
I can put in manual page breaks fine and this does put in the running header
again. I have also been into the document settings and set the page numbering
to where I want it. But I have had to resort to counting down 25 lines in a
piece of music to try and make sure that the hands aren’t split between pages
on a piano part. I thought I had counted these manually correctly and then on
embossing low and behold a couple had failed.
This also then mucks up my page numbering in my contents as those pages ended
up with 1 line at the top of the next page and then a page break, so an extra
page. The page numbers in most cases do not seem to be appearing at the top
right where I have set them on the file, they do show when embossing.
In a book I created I have each new song starting a new page, but one song is
about 4 pages long and Duxbury is showing nothing to tell me where the pages
change.
