Next Select the second item “Using the BANA Braille Template for Word” and 
scroll down to the comparative section:

Matching Word Styles to DBT Styles (and Codes)

The templates varies depending on the Document I am transcribing. Mostly the 
English BANA templates.

Deborah:
Styles do differ somewhat from template to template, but some are widely 
shared.  In DBT Help, the only template that is fully laid out -- with the 
codes for each style listed -- is the UEB (UKAAF) template.

You can look in the table of contents under “Templates/Creating your own 
template/English (UEB) UK Formatting”, or search on “UKAAF” in the Search 
facility.  The topic is called, ‘Styles in the "English (UEB) - UK Formatting 
(UKAAF)" Template’

Otherwise, you can get a definition of each style in your current template, 
whatever it may be, by choosing the Modify Style command and just use that to 
look at the codes that define the style.

Hope this helps.  BTW, which template are you mostly using?

I looked at the suggestion that you gave John. I am looking for somewhere that 
I can get a description of each style that is listed in the shift+F8 menu that 
you choose form.
