[duxuser] Anglo-Saxon Symbols

Are there any contractions or methods to indicate the symbols in
Anglo-Saxon, (Beowulf era) to teach my student who is a braille reader what
the language looked like and for understanding in British Literature? I am
talking about the symbols that look like a p, z, o with a cross, ae and so
forth.
