It's nothing to worry about at the moment, but to explain anyway.
Many users have their systems set up in such a way that they cannot see file
extensions. In in many corporate environments, they cannot change the
behaviour.
However, Windows by default displays icons in front of known file names, so a
sighted user will see for example a Word icon in front of a Word file name. A
Zip icon will appear in front of Zip files, and so on. Screen readers are
usually set up to recognise known icons and tell you what they are.
Windows does not know about DBT's file types, and more especially .dxp and
.dxb, and so it just uses a default icon that says nothing. Hence if you have
a file called jack.dxp and another call jack.dxb, you cannot tell which is
which is extensions are turned off.
However, it is possible for a developer to add an icon of his or her own
design to associate with a specific file extension, and so that's what's been
done for an untested autobuild of DBT.
Unfortunately, there was a minor glitch while coding the software, and the
association of icon and extension wasn't quite as intended. I'm sure it will
be fixed by the next Beta.

Sneaky, eh? You thought we wouldn't notice! I know it's WIP, but here
goes anyway.
Can I suggest the B (for Braille) version be used for DBT Win?
Would it also be possible to have the B version of the icon for .dxb
files, and the P version for .dxp?
