[duxhelp] Re: Curious asks! Why the difference between the [lea] and [pv] codes?

Hello everyone:

It has always baffled me as to why the values that are typed for the
[lea] (Print Reference Page Number) and the [pv] (Set Braille Page
Number) codes are entered differently from one another.

When you use the [lea] (Print Reference Page Number) code, the number
value for this code is entered as text, outside the [lea] code, e.g.
[lea]1

Whereas, When you use the [pv] (Set Braille Page Number) code, the
number value for this code is entered as text, inside the [pv] code,
e.g. [pv1]

It would be nice if the values for the [lea] and [pv codes were
entered in the same way, that is, entering the number value inside the
[lea] code, instead of outside the [lea] code, as it is at present.
What do other users think?

Sincerely:

Dave Durber
