Well, it was still fun to believe in it.

Subject: Re: The moon seen from the Arctic Circle
While I was impressed by the thought of such a site I couldn’t understand why I
haven’t seen this a thousand times over…
D
Hence…
However, this video is an animation. It can be traced back to Ukrainian
computer graphics (CG) artist Aleksey Patrev
(here<https://www.artstation.com/aleksey_n/profile>), who posted the clip
(here<https://nftb.io/item/d05b86ffba6ee104b222bca089110672/>). He consistently
posts similar animations to his social media accounts (see
www.instagram.com/aleksey__n/<https://www.instagram.com/aleksey__n/> and
www.tiktok.com/@aleksey__nz<https://www.tiktok.com/@aleksey__nz>).
The CGI video also depicts several physical improbabilities. Firstly, the
landscape is dry grassland, rather than ice. There is no land in the North
Pole. As The National Geographic says: “The North Pole is found in the Arctic
Ocean, on constantly shifting pieces of sea ice.” A National Geographic map
shows the intersecting regions of the Canadian and Russian North Pole – the
alleged location of the video – and its distance from the nearest land mass of
the countries
(here<https://www.nationalgeographic.org/encyclopedia/north-pole/#north-pole-map>).

Subject: Fwd: The moon seen from the Arctic Circle
This is very spectacular.

The moon 🌝 seen from the Arctic Circle, between Russia and Canada, it only
lasts a few seconds, but it's worth seeing. It's a spectacular sight - and in
real time! Imagine that you are in a place between Canada and Russia and that,
suddenly and for just 30 seconds, the moon appears in all its splendour and
disappears before your eyes. Looks like the moon is going to collide with the
earth. But even more impressive, and for just 5 seconds, a total eclipse of
the sun takes place right after. It's unprecedented and spectacular! The video
was shot in real time. This phenomenon happens at the perigee point of a star's
orbit around the Earth, where the proximity of the Moon is so evident that,
suddenly, we realize the great speed at which the Earth is moving .
