While everyone was around here was whining about the first snow I took
it as a cue to get going with my favorite seasonal pastime. With a few
inches on the ground and even more clinging to the trees and pulling
branches into an arch over the driveway we silently set out on our first
adventure. It was a refreshing 18 degrees, the view was perfect, the
ponies willing, the trails fresh, and when the snow came off the
branches it sparkled in the sun. Ahh, Wisconsin in November....perfect
horse weather.
