i am (i hope) preparing to start a young pair, and thought maybe some
drivers could comment on their procedures, in general. I've only started one
other pair, and have some options this time that i didnt have then. (well,
what I have is 2 horses trained to pull together -- maybe they can help?)
would you folks start each of the young guys in pair, first with one of the
trained pair? or prefer to start the two youngsters together?
Perhaps I should clarify - both on my young 'almost' pairs horses pull
nicely single. They are each much larger than my other pair -- first pair
14 hands, young pair 16 hands (and a whole lot larger, in general.) on the
one hand i think putting together a first pair horse wi a young is a good
idea, but am worried the size difference may create a problem that I fail to
foresee...
I've been doing some reading, checking back articles & things, but would
really like to just hear some other thoughts.

I hope everyone is doing ok & has been out driving. Nancy in NH
