Another advantage to having your pair of horses perform well as singles. When you enter a show, and one horse hurts itself the night before, you can still switch your entry to single horse (if the show allows), and still do the show. That is of course, if you have a pair without a spare! But truth be told, the pair is a LOT of fun to drive!
