For marathon I use an elastic trace carrier that I got from Celine at Carriage
Driving Essentials. I tape it back a bit so that it holds the traces forward
when the leader is not in draft, and streches when the leader is in draft. I
haven't had a wheeler leg over a trace since I started using it.
