We were told by Hardy Zantke that they should be changed back and forth quite often. There will be a way that they tend to go best, like with less pulling away from each other, less counterbending, and that would be the way to be for the CDE or whatever. But you should switch sides on them every few times out, so they build up their bodies equally on each side. Linda and Bob Smith in Arizona - who, I believe, never introduced ourselves to this list that we are pretty new to. So here goes. My husband, Bob, drives a pair of minis in arena trials and in CDE. I drive a single mini in those events also. We also drive single minis in the Petite Elite Miniature Horse Driving Drill team out of Arizona. We used to have big horses, but have fallen head over heels for these little equine now and only have five minis. Two stallions, two geldings and one yearling filly (everyone drives but the youngster). Bob drives one stallion and a gelding as a pair. You can see some of our guys and what we do with them at our little unfinished website at http://www.myweb.cableone.net/Lrsmith I've enjoyed your informative postings on this mail subscriber so far. Thanks for letting us read and learn here. Linda Jerry Benge wrote: > I haven't been driving pairs for very long and need some advice in > regards to changing my ponies from one side to the other.
