I spoke with the organizers (Steve & Lynn Olsen) this past weekend. They report that the entries are WAY BELOW expected! PLEASE get your enties sent in. They need to know how many stalls to order, and also if there are not enough entries this show may not happen again. For those of you who remember the old Santa Ynez carriage classic, this is the same quality of show, just in a new venue. The Van Eck family bought this property in Kelseyville (just north of the wine country), just so they could put on carriage shows!! Don't let them down, they've worked for 2 years to prepare the arenas and trails. The judges are VERY GOOD: Katie Waley and David Remley, and Ed Young is TD. What more could you ask for in pleasure driving? This is east coast quality in the west!! You also couldn't ask for a better selection of classes, as there is SOMETHING for every type of equine and hitch. This is a first class event, and the classes are only $15.00 each. Please once again, get those entries sent in.
