SIRE RIDE-A-THON

Who: You and all your friends who love to trail ride, carriage drive,
support a good cause, eat barbeque, and watch a free Michael Richardson
horse training demonstration sponsored by Purina Mills

What: A ride and drive trail ride benefiting SIRE-Houston's Therapeutic
Equestrian Center and its clients of all ages with disabilities.

Where: 7IL Ranch, Cat Spring, Texas. Go to this link for more details
and location/map (www.7ILTrails.com <http://www.7iltrails.com/> )

When: Saturday, October 16

How: Fill out the entry form in the SIRE Ride-A-Thon brochure
in this attached link (www.SIRE-HTEC.org <http://www.sire-htec.org/> ) or
call to have a brochure/entry form mailed to you

Trails: 6 to 12.5 miles of riding trail. Carriage trails are
approximately 5-10 miles. There is no paved road driving; all trails will
be through the 2100 acre ranch. Minis to drafts and all long ears are
welcome. Trails consist of grass, sand, small amount of gravel track with
grassy area at sides, rolling terrain, trees and woods, and a few shallow
water crossings. This would be a great opportunity for a final conditioning
drive for the upcoming Oklahoma Cowboy Country CDE.

You are especially invited to join the Erin Denmark Carriage Driving Team.
You can support this client team by donations, participating in the
ride/drive, or being an underwriter. If you have friends who prefer to ride
astride, please bring them along-they can join the Carriage Driving Team
from horseback, too. Erin is a young lady with mental, physical, and
medical disabilities who has been participating in the SIRE program for over
12 years. Erin is a member of the Houston Area Carriage Association and the
Brazos Valley Driving and Riding Club. She wants our support for carriage
driving as a sport so that she and other clients with disabilities might
continue to learn to drive at SIRE. As a client she must compete to be able
to participate in the Ride-A-Thon by gathering the most team members and
donations. So, come join the fun, and support a good cause at the same
time.

THE ERIN DENMARK CARRIAGE DRIVING TEAM MUST RECEIVE ALL ENTRIES,
UNDERWRITERS, AND DONATIONS BY

MONDAY, OCTOBER 4TH

to be eligible to qualify for prizes/awards. Come share in the award we
hope to win! Client teams have a different deadline from that stated in the
brochure. This date is a day before the deadline so that everything may be
put on the Carriage Team list and turned in on time by October 5th. All
checks should be made to SIRE. If you require a donation receipt, please
indicate.

There is no additional cost to join Erin's team; just put "Erin Denmark" on
the line for "Team member of ____" on the registration form. But, any
additional donation will help! If you join the team, you can still drive
when and with whomever you wish. Let's all win the trophy for the biggest
team to show how fantastic and popular carriage driving is! If you can't
attend, please know that donations are also very important, greatly
appreciated, and tax deductible.

Thanks for your support and happy carriage driving. Please let us know if
you require any additional information.

Please send all entries/donations (checks made out to SIRE) if you would
like to support Erin and the carriage driving team to:
