Okeedokee, I have some ponies that may be of interest here. We really want to focus our breeding program and therefore we are letting go of some super cute ponies. All these listed are of the same description though the breed makeup of each is slightly different. I have two mares, both black, both 13hh and both in foal to my black Section D Welsh Cob who also happens to be a ASPR first premium stallion. One mare is already registered with the ASPR and has been inspected the other surely can be. Therefore the one foal is already registrable with the ASPR. These mares are 8yrs old. Reportedly one had been driven in a pair (not with the other mare, but in a pair). We have NO IDEA how she was, we have not tried, they are simply broodmares to us. HOWEVER, their foals WILL Match. They always throw very similar foals and always throw black. Both the mare's foals will be registrable half welsh as well. I would like to get $1500 a piece for them or sell them together for $2800. We are however negotiable at this point. Our reason for selling them is that they will have more substance than is ideal for our registered Sport Pony program. We happen to like the type they throw, but this isn't about us. Anyone who likes light draft or warmbloodish/haflinger type ponies will like these ponies. I have a coming two Spotted Draft/Welsh cross filly. She will finish around 14-14.2hh. She is solid black except for a small star. She is actually out of one of the above listed mares. To go with her, we have a coming 3 yr old Gelding Percheron/Welsh cross. He matches her very nicely. Also solid black very small star. He should finish about 14-14.2 as well. These will NEVER be advanced type ponies. They will make super family driving/riding ponies. They would CDE, but you aren't going advanced with these guys. I believe their price reflects this. Both have great substance but are not overly bulky so rider size shouldn't matter. They have quiet temperaments. The coming 3 already lunges. The yearling is easy to do things to from clipping to trimming feet etc.. I'm asking $1200 for each of them, a little more negotiable on the gelding than the filly and if anyone would like them as a pair $2200 Last but certainly not least is our little Hackney Pony coming 2yr old colt. He is gorgeous, he is registered and no one in the state of FL seems to want a Hackney Pony. We will take $700 for him. That is down from the original $1200 I was asking. This guy is truly beautiful. This is what I would like to move NOW. I'm feeling flexible. We need to move what we know isn't our future breeding program. I want good homes, minimal cash loss for us. I'm not looking to make money on these guys. This is just refining our program. We do have others for sale though the pricing is not in the same catagory as the above. Still have a Friesian/Arabian coming 2 filly, a 2002 Welsh Cob cross/ASPR Colt out of one of the black mares listed here and a 2002 bay tobiano half Cob half Shetland first premium ASPR filly.
