First words:

I don't drink, I got plenty of sleep last night and the
Saharan dust cloud hasn't made it to Albuquerque so I
can't explain why, as I write this in the middle of the
day on June 29th, I feel tired and hungover. I can't
even have a hair of the dog because I don't know which
dog bit me, or even if it was, in fact, a dog.  :(

Hope all is well with you and yours. Let's get started.

My most recent favorite quarantine pastime is watching

What are you doing to pass the time now that it's so very
unwise to be out and about (if you've a choice)? There are
no shortage of suggestions on the internet.

As a young man I was excited and enthusiastic about the
opportunity to purchase and ignite fireworks every year
in the week or two preceding the 4th of July. Ironically,
I no longer have any use for fireworks and am quite annoyed
with the younger folks in my neighborhood who've been
shooting them off every evening this week. I suppose that's
just another aspect of the 'Great Circle of Life'. :)

Bah, humbug.

See you next time.
