Texas weather is hasslesome this time of year. Some days
are delightfully warm and sunny but it's just as apt to be
cold and damp the following day. Then there's my ongoing
battle with the skunk who insists on living under our
house. I keep going out in the wee hours and covering her
tunnel with heavy rocks and she keeps digging a new tunnel.
I keep thinking she'll get tired of having to dig a new
access tunnel every few days but so far it hasn't happened
and every time I think I've blocked every spot where she
could dig she finds one I've missed. Skunks are smart
and persistent. :(
Oh well, it's always something, isn't it?

Back when Microsoft shut down Outlook Express I got a lot
of calls from unhappy folks who wanted an alternative email
client. I recommended Thunderbird but there were a lot of
folks who just gritted their teeth and learned how to use
Windows Live Mail. Well, now that's going away too.
