[dokuwiki] tag version

Hi Andi,
This is more out of curiousity than anything else...
I noticed you tagged the darcs repo recently.
What effect does that have?
Does that mean I can install a particular tagged version?
I have now RTFM and know "darcs get --tag <name>" will get a particular
tagged version, however that tag isn't mentioned anywhere either on the
wiki at splitbrain or the download page. So I am still curious as to the
purpose it serves :)
