Hello all - I have not been able to solve our problem with a lost revision history and am providing more information in hope that someone might have a solution or at least some ideas on what to try next. We are stuck ... please help! Here is the problem: * I moved the wiki files into a new folder structure. * Afterwards none of our pages show a revision history anymore. Clicking on Old Revisions only gives me a link to the current version of each page. This applies to old pages (created before moving the wiki) as well as new pages. * Based on a comment from Wes, I assume that I accidentally deleted the meta data for my wiki when I moved it's files to a new location. * I checked the contents of the meta, pages, and attic folders and the do seem to contain all information on revisions for the new pages, and some information of revisions for the old ones (the changes that were made after I moved the wiki). * How can I get dokuwiki to consider the existing information and display it to me in the revision history? As an example, here is all the information for a page called "admin": ___ Contents of attic folder ___ admin.1201515073.txt.gz admin.1209976737.txt.gz ___ Contents of pages folder ___ admin.txt ___ Contents of meta folder ___ admin.changes admin.indexed admin.meta ____ Contents of admin.changes file ____ 1201515073 127.0.0.1 E admin external edit 1209976737 172.17.25.184 E admin philipp ____ Contents of admin.meta file ____ a:2:{s:7:"current";a:6:{s:4:"date";a:2:{i:0;N;s:8:"modified";i:1209976737;}s:11:"last_change";a:7:{s:4:"date";i:1209976737;s:2:"ip";s:13:"172.17.25.184";s:4:"type";s:1:"E";s:2:"id";s:5:"admin";s:4:"user";s:7:"philipp";s:3:"sum";s:0:"";s:5:"extra";s:0:"";}s:11:"contributor";a:2:{i:0;N;s:7:"philipp";s:15:"Philipp Schmidt";}s:5:"title";s:5:"Admin";s:11:"description";a:2:{s:15:"tableofcontents";a:1:{i:0;a:4:{s:3:"hid";s:5:"admin";s:5:"title";s:5:"Admin";s:4:"type";s:2:"ul";s:5:"level";i:2;}}s:8:"abstract";s:120:"Admin Staffing and Coordination Project Deliverables (from grant agreement with Shuttleworth Foundation) To Do Lists";}s:8:"relation";a:1:{s:10:"references";a:3:{s:25:"staffing_and_coordination";b:1;s:20:"project_deliverables";b:1;s:11:"to_do_lists";b:1;}}}s:10:"persistent";a:3:{s:4:"date";a:2:{i:0;N;s:8:"modified";i:1209976737;}s:11:"last_change";a:7:{s:4:"date";i:1209976737;s:2:"ip";s:13:"172.17.25.184";s:4:"type";s:1:"E";s:2:"id";s:5:"admin";s:4:"user";s:7:"philipp";s:3:"sum";s:0:"";s:5:"extra";s:0:"";}s:11:"contributor";a:2:{i:0;N;s:7:"philipp";s:15:"Philipp Schmidt";}}} On Wed, Mar 19, 2008 at 8:11 AM, philipp schmidt <phi.schmidt@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > On Wed, Mar 19, 2008 at 12:14 AM, Wes <stararmy@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > It sounds like you moved the pages but not the corresponding meta data. > > ouch ... it think you are right. i looked at the timestamps of files in the > meta folder and they do not go as far back as those in the pages folder. i > forgot to mention that new changes i make also don't show up as revisions - > would removing meta information at any one point have this effect? > > and the big question - is there a way to re-create the meta data? it seems > all the actual page information (the revisions etc.) is still there. > > P > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > On Tue, Mar 18, 2008 at 5:58 PM, philipp schmidt <phi.schmidt@xxxxxxxxx> > wrote: > > > Hello Dokuwiki List: > > > > > > We are using dokuwiki for a number of projects at the University of the > > > Western Cape in South Africa.
