[dokuwiki] dokuwiki site with active directory authentication via blackberry browser not remembering login credentials

Greeting all,
Blackberries(bb) have a built in VPN back to the network where the BES
server resides; I currently host a dokuwiki site with authentication on
active directory- just some pages not all the site.
Here is my question; when I visit the wiki via the bb everything works
great except those pages that require authentication. I am able to
login to pages via my credentials and I click remember me check mark and
I get in; but if I click on another link to another page that requires
authentication I get asked my credentials again; and this happens for
every page that I want to visit that is private.
Has anyone encountered this scenario? Any insight and help would be
awesome.
