Hi Andi,

rz36:~> uname -a
Linux rz36 2.6.25.16-0.1-default #1 SMP Thu Sep 11 11:39:35 CEST 2008
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
rz36:~> which darcs
/usr/local/bin/darcs
rz36:~> darcs -v
2.0.2 (release)

This box is running openSUSE 11.0, and using the static binary from
<http://vandal.sdf-eu.org/darcs-2.0.2-linux-amd64-static.tar.gz> works
fine on SLES10, too. The darcs plugin (from
<http://wiki.erazor-zone.de/wiki:projects:php:dokuwiki:plugins:darcs>)
is very slow since the bugfixing weekend anyway ;-)

BTW, I agree to Sebastian's point about the reasons for switching.

Regards,
Werner
