[dokuwiki] Subscription fails after upgrade to 2009-02-14

Hi,
We have problems with subscribe/unsubscribe to pages and/or namespaces.
As far as I can see the problems started after we upgraded to
2009-02-14.
Subscribing to a page looks like it works, but no e-mails are received.
Unsubscribing fails with this error: "Failed to handle command:
unsubscribe".
Any ideas?
