Sorry, misunderstand you.
But this patch is not only a prettyup, it is a security patch.
Let as say, you hat 5 groups in your company, each his one namespace, and only
this group have read access to this namespace.
Let as say in one of the namespace the read access is even in general denied,
(admins only). In the RSS everybody can see the changes, if you forget to mark
"little changes only" or you have not even the right for this mark.
The patch never give out any RSS if you down't have read permission for the
changed site.
To give the possibility to add more Exclusions in the options, is a extra. (for
some things i like to have no plugin dependency, so 100% no problems with
updates and incompatibilities. And you save time, less plugin searching time
for newcomers. i have once a problem with incompatibility of plugins, it take
**hours** to find the cause of the problems.)

(i see how many time you have to clean out "ksdfhzuewrn sf skhsdfuirweb sg
blablabla" tests of your wiki in regular sites. If playground would by hidden,
bat thing ;-)
(you need maybe a playground button on your template.)
