Try to disable any email notification in your wiki.
We had the same problem and it was something between linux and an
exchange SMTP port or maybe an DNS problem. We can't get to the bottom
of the problem because the guys who administer the windows server
didn't want to support us.
At the end I disabled email notification and "save" works fast again.
