thank you, that particular feed now works. But other feeds don't. For
example this one:

   {{rss>https://www.metanet.ch/rss/statusmeldungen.xml 1 date}}

But it works in other rss readers, such as liferea. This one does not
seem to use any redirects.


Please, for your metanet.ch RSS:

1) make sure you turn on https://www.dokuwiki.org/config:allowdebug
2) use the view source code technique I mentioned before to see if there is
any specific error message

BTW DokuWiki uses a third-party library SimplePie to parse RSS feed.
