Unfortunately it does not handle it automatically - it is a manual
process.  Although I'm certain it could be done, there's no real
straightforward way to predict beforehand the amount of blank space that
gets inserted.=20

Hmm. I thought that's what the offset was for - does this handle the
offset for you automatically?

Have you played with the new 'set decrompressed start' feature in DMP?
That should fix it for you.  It's on the right click menu in the wave
editor if memory serves.
