Woops - the correct compiled package files are in 'projects'\Bpl folder. If you have not moved it, and you are not using Vista, that should be "My Documents\Borland Studio Projects\Bpl" And the files are (this list is from BDS 4.0 so not all files may be there) ZipmasterD10.bpi ZipMasterD10.bpl ZipMasterD10.dcp ZipmasterD10D.bpi ZipMasterD10D.bpl ZipMasterD10D.dcp Do you have TZipSFX installed? - there may be some name conflicts or I may need to integrate the two components more fully (half measures may not have been enough). - Russell Peters -----Original Message----- From: delphizip-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:delphizip-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Leif Almgren Sent: Wednesday, 18 April 2007 7:59 PM To: delphizip@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [delphizip] Re: Delphi 2007 and ZipMaster Hi and thanks for your quick response! This is the exact method I used to try an dinstall ZipMaster in Delphi 2007: 1. Opened package ZipmasterD10D.dpk 2. Right-clicked on the project in the project manager an chose "Install". 3. Received message that "The following changes must be done before package can be compiled: "Remove ZipSFX. (Unit ZipSFX was found in required package ZipmasterD10)". 4. Confirmed the removal. 5. Received "Access violation at adress XXXXXX" in module "delphicoreide100.bpl". Regarding your suggestions on how to reinstall in Delphi 2005, I removed all dcu files but I don't see how I can remove the dpk files, because this is the file I would open to make a manual install. Anyway, I am using the install program, so the dpk files are reinstalled during the install process. Sorry, maybe I don't have enough knowledge about packages etc... /Leif > Did you remove all ZipMaster dcu (particularly zipmasterD10D.dcu) and > compiled package (zipmasterD10D.dpk) then Build? - it always seems to be a > problem to make the IDE revert to previous rtl versions. > > I found the new compiler version but Delphi 2007 is supposed to also define > the same version as D2006 so it should have still compiled and installed. > If you can remember, what was the exception you got in Delphi 2007? > I have still been trying to gather information but I cannot see anything > that should cause problems. > - Russell Peters > -----Original Message----- > From: delphizip-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:delphizip-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Leif Almgren > Sent: Wednesday, 18 April 2007 5:12 PM > To: delphizip@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [delphizip] Re: Delphi 2007 and ZipMaster > > I reverted back to Delphi 2005 to be able to work on some projects where > I have used ZipMaster.
