Here at the Anacostia Watershed Society, we give our work all we got and we
aren't afraid to get our hands dirty! As we move to the close of the year,
we can't help but look back with gratitude at what we've accomplished
together this year for the Anacostia River. Thank you so much to our
supporters, donors, and volunteers whose passion for a cleaner, healthier
river has created thousands of joyful and educational moments for the
residents of the watershed. Those students pictured above are spreading
native wetland seeds via "mudballing," not realizing the real seed is their
participation in the river's restoration. Thank you for being a part of
the Anacostia River's remarkable transformation!

landscape features that will beautify your property and provide numerous
benefits to our local environment.
