*Update on Councilmember Gray*

Washington, DC – The office of DC Councilmember Vincent C. Gray issued the
following statement on the Councilmember's health:

"While on vacation, Councilmember Gray tore the Achilles tendon in his
ankle.  Yesterday, Gray had successful surgery to repair the tendon.  He
was discharged from the hospital and arrived home last night.  Gray is
resting today and will begin physical rehabilitation in the coming days."
