*HER STORY MATTERS is BACK! Yes, our premiere breast cancer dinner and
awards program event will return in October 2022!! We will once again
honor DC women of color that have triumphed over breast cancer, honoring
women from Wards 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and the African Diaspora! If there is
someone you know that lives in the above mentioned ward that you would like
to nominate to receive the Fannie Lou Hamer "Courage In Action" Award at
the event, you have until July 15th, 2022! More details to come. We are
working with artists and more sponsors and looking forward to a spectacular
event!*
