Good morning! I'm emailing to announce that the DC Office of the People's
Counsel, led by Sandra Mattavous-Frye, is hosting a virtual event about the
impact of climate change on District residents called The Price You Pay:
Straight Talk About Climate Change and Environmental Injustice. The event is
being held on Saturday, October 16, and we want people from every part of the
city to participate-those who are steeped in the issues of climate change and
those who are still learning.
Andy Shallal, Founder & CEO of Busboys and Poets, will host the event with the
People's Counsel, and will broadcast a live segment from his Anacostia
restaurant. I've attached a media advisory with details, and copies of ads from
the outdoor campaign that will begin on Monday.
Campbell & Company, the event contractor, is coordinating media relations and
